Connect a wall switch and lamp

A lamp and wall switch have already been fitted in a back room, but they are not connected to power. Make the light work safely.

Your job

    Turn off the lighting power and check that it is safe to work.

  2. 2

    Connect the switch and lamp using the correct brown and blue wires.

  3. 3

    Close the connections, turn the power back on and test the switch.
