How does the Classroom revenue share work?
If you publish your AI clone to students and charge for sessions, Lectra takes a 12% platform fee on paid sessions only. Free sessions cost nothing. There is no per-seat fee for the lecturer or the institution.
Can I bring my own voice and face clones?
Yes. You can upload existing voice samples or face footage, and we'll fine-tune our cloning models on them. Or use our personality interview to create new clones from scratch.
Where does my data live?
Free and Studio plans run on our managed cloud in EU and US regions. Enterprise customers get sovereign-region hosting (we currently support Lagos-1, Frankfurt-1, and Virginia-1) or fully on-prem deployments.
How are students protected?
Students see consent disclosures whenever they interact with an AI clone. All session transcripts are reviewable by the lecturer. We don't train on student conversations. Full DPA + DPIA available for Enterprise.
Can I switch tiers?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade anytime. We prorate the difference. Annual contracts can be paused for academic breaks.
What about ministries and government education?
We support curriculum-scale deployments with custom DPIA, on-prem rendering, and offline distribution for low-connectivity contexts. Talk to us about your specific requirements.
